Moroccan chicken seemed to be a tasty dish and a good learning experience. Emani Maldonado and Solerika Colon learned about different types of spices; especially how tumeric can make everything a pretty shade of yellow. The savory and sweet of the chicken was different flavor for the girls; they were not used to having sweet things, like raisins, with chicken. However, they seemed to like it. The crisp bars were a big hit and everyone enjoyed them.
Everyone got to take home chicken and dessert. We are excited about next week with our special guests.
