Makayla Major cracks an egg while Asiyah Mayfield-West dices red pepper in the background during week 1 of the Spring 2018 My Daughter's Kitchen cooking program at Community Partnership School.

The students at CPS were excited to get cooking today, as many of them were returning chefs, eager to learn more skills and taste new recipes. Each chef tasted throughout the cooking process, declaring that they would eat the veggies just the way they were - sauteed with spices and love. Samyah Evans said that the final product finished with sliced avocado on top looked “magnificent.” Chrisma Tucker said that the burrito was “fantastic and crunchy.” Ms Chrystina, who has been to a lot of My Daughter’s Kitchen classes, said that this was the best thing these students had made so far!
