Aishe F. and Daniyah B. learn how the make "perfect scrambled eggs" during week 1 of the Spring 2017 My Daughter's Kitchen cooking program at Philadelphia Montessori Charter School.

Today we met our five very eager young chefs - many of whom are already cooking meals for their own families.  When asked why breakfast is important, Jaden H. and Daniyah B. proudly agreed that it makes you smarter.  Aniyah B. noted in her journal that she learned to mix the dry ingredients in one bowl and the wet ones in the other.  Aishe F. said she wouldn't eat eggs, but after tasting a small bite she asked for seconds and then took some home.  And Kevin L. proclaimed the meal an, "A+."
