For some, tortellini salad more fun to make than to taste

Tortellini salad prepared by cooking students at LaSalle Academy during week 2 of the Spring 2017 My Daughter's Kitchen cooking program.

Most of the children had never tasted tortellini and didn't know that it was also stuffed with cheese - a pleasant surprise. They also enjoyed making the "zoodles".  Daisy Orr took her salad dressing job very seriously and is a pro at zesting! The end result had mixed reviews: Nakira Thorpe thought it was "banging" (that means good), and Gilberto Gonzalez wasn't a fan of all the vegetables but thought it was a lot of fun to make.
