Cranberry, apple, pear crisp took much longer to cook

My Daughter\'s Kitchen Kitchen Notebook week 7, fall 2017-11122017-0006
Shaianne Croker tries the cranberry, pear, apple crisp that she and other students learned to make during week 7 of the fall 2017 My Daughter's Kitchen cooking program at TeamUP Philly @ Daroff Universal Charter.

Week 7 includes dessert!  There was so much to do today that we started chopping and mixing right away so we could get our Cranberry, Apple and Pear Crisp in the oven before we read through our other recipes.  It was a good thing, too, since it took much longer to cook than expected.  We are in a new space and learning that our oven temperature setting is low.  Cooking is an inexact science and, even when we follow the recipe carefully, things don't always go according to the plan!
