Boys love quick-to-prepare Bolognese

Students at Cayuga Elementary prepare Mushroom Bolognese with Salad & Lemon Vinaigrette during week 6 of the fall 2016 My Daughter's Kitchen cooking program.

 

Mushrooms!! I was pretty sure the boys were going to turn their noses up at eating mushrooms, I know I would've as a child their age. I was pleasantly surprised at their reaction to the meal! It was fairly quick to prep and cook, always a plus in my book. They loved the meal. The boys couldn't get enough of the pasta and the salad with the tangy vinaigrette.
