Michael Vick is one of four finalists for the 2012 Madden cover.

Vick defeated 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis, earning 61 percent of the ESPN.com online vote, to advance.

Next up for Vick is Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. The other side of the bracket has Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers going up against Browns running back Peyton Hillis.

Vick and Rodgers are the favorites to square off in the championship.

Earlier in the competition, Vick knocked off Texans receiver Andre Johnson and Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware.

So if you want Vick on the cover, you can go vote for him against Peterson. Or if you believe in the Madden curse, you can vote against Vick.

MORE TV TIME FOR DESEAN

Every few months, we seem to get a new DeSean Jackson commercial.

The latest is a Nike spot where Jackson joins Amare Stoudemire, Chris Bosh and Ken Griffey Jr. - an odd collection to say the least.

The height disparity between Jackson and Bosh/Stoudemire is pretty amusing. Overall, an entertaining couple of minutes. The video is embedded below. Hat tip to The 700 Level.

And if you missed my first post on Monday, I took a look at how the Eagles have fared with first-round picks under Andy Reid.

DeSean Jackson is always ready for prime time. It will be good to see him play again when the NFL gets underway some time in the future. Next year willing. GO EAGLES!!!

How funny would that be if Vick won! beating out a guy who actually beat him and went on to be the superbowl MVP!......an absolute joke!

I'm pretty sure the cover isn't based upon who beat who, but who is more popular. Let me guess, your idea of marketing would be to put the guy with the best stats of the team who won the superbowl, no matter what his status with the fans were...
