Every week I scour the Internet to see who the experts are picking in the Eagles game. This week, finding someone who had an optimistic view for the Birds was pretty difficult. There's one FoxSports.com writer and a couple CBSSports.com writers who think the Eagles can pull the upset.
Here's the roundup:
Les Bowen of the Daily News likes the Giants, 27-21.
The Daily News' Paul Domowitch picks New York, 27-24.
CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco picks the Giants, 27-14:
The Eagles' playoff hopes likely rest on this game, which isn't a good thing. The Giants are playing good football and would love to knock the Eagles out of the playoff race. I think Donovan McNabb struggles like he did in Baltimore a few weeks back. Giants take it.
CBSSports.com's Harmon Forecast likes the Giants in a 26-17 win:
Eagles QB Donovan McNabb threw a season-high four touchdowns last week, but faces a Giants defense that puts pressure on quarterbacks, forcing them into early or inaccurate passes. Giants QB Eli Manning will test an Eagles defense that intercepted Kurt Warner three times and held him to 54 percent on completions.
SI.com's Peter King goes with the Giants, 19-9.
All five members of ESPN's Sunday Countdown crew pick the Giants.
All eight ESPN experts pick the Giants.
Two of six CBSSports.com experts pick the Eagles to cover.
Five of six FoxSports.com experts like the Giants.
All eight USA Today experts pick the Giants.
