What they're saying: Eagles at disadvantage?

Once again, this week's links are brought to you by Temple student and intern extraordinaire Andrew Holland.

And as always, check out's Eagles section for the latest local coverage from The Inquirer and Daily News. has the Eagles ranked 15th in its power rankings:

You can't trust this team. Andy Reid's decision to abandon the run probably ended the Eagles' season.'s Matt Mosley says the decision to move the game against the Cowboys from 1 p.m. to 4:15 puts the Eagles at a disadvantage.

It was a tough break for Andy Reid and the Eagles. Before their game begins, the Eagles will know whether the Raiders were able to knock off Tampa Bay.

The Cowboys would never admit it, but they think they caught a huge break with the game being moved back. Asked if he'd rather not know the outcome of the game, Reid said, "Yeah, but that's probably not realistic in this day-in-age of technology."'s Pete Prisco has the Eagles 15th in his power rankings:

That loss to the Redskins is indicative of their season. They just haven't been able to gain any consistency. They too are alive -- barely.'s Prisco gives the Eagles a C+ for their performance against the Redskins:

It's a choke when you don't score a touchdown in a game you had to have for playoff reasons. The offense didn't get it going all afternoon long. The running game struggled. The defense actually played good football, but it went to waste.'s Adrian Hasenmayer has the Eagles ranked 16th in his power rankings:

Once again, Andy Reid couldn't help himself as Donovan McNabb threw 72% of the time in a 10-3 loss last week at Washington. So much for the Eagles sticking with the running game, and so much for controlling their destiny.'s Charles Robinson has Eagles coach Andy Reid as one of this week's losers:

Even on the road, Sunday’s loss to Washington is extremely deflating. It all but kills Philadelphia’s playoff hopes one game early and gives fans plenty of time to stew heading into the home finale against Dallas. If the Eagles lose to Dallas, the feeling of disappointment will cross over into anger and have this fan base calling for Reid’s head all over again. has the Eagles ranked 14th in its power rankings:

In a season of letdowns, Redskins loss may be the killer.'s Mike Florio has the Eagles ranked 14th in his power rankings.'s Scouts Inc. has observations from the Eagles-Redskins game:

• Washington coach Jim Zorn had his receivers run a lot of short patterns and had QB Jason Campbell use more one- and three-step drops to get the ball out quickly. This also forced Campbell to make quicker decisions and asked him to go with his primary read most of the time, which eliminated confusion.

• Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Johnson did a good job of sending blitzes from different angles, and he managed to harass Campbell all afternoon.  Philadelphia managed to get to Campbell for three sacks on the day.
