Tulloch, Kuechly, Eagles' SB odds

If you missed it from this morning, I offered my take on the possibility of the Eagles adding Tim Tebow and how he might fit in.

Now on to some other notes, starting with a free agency update.

[UPDATED]

The Lions have agreed to a five-year deal with linebacker Stephen Tulloch, according to Pro Football Talk. Curtis Lofton, David Hawthorne and London Fletcher have yet to sign, but perhaps the market will begin to take shape now. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told Pat Kirwan of CBSSports.com that there are 12 draftable linebackers with good grades, and that's hurting the veterans who are currently looking for deals.

One of those linebackers is Luke Kuechly, a player I've written about at length in this space. Kuechly's Pro Day is scheduled for Wednesday, and I hope to catch up with him by phone afterwards for the next installment of the Draft Diary series.

In an interview with WalterFootball.com, Kuechly said he already has pre-draft visits set up with the Titans and Panthers. Don't read too much into that. Teams will host plenty of prospects as the next step in the draft process. But many of you have asked if I think Kuechly will be available at No. 15, so it's worth noting Carolina has the ninth pick, and Tennessee has the 20th.

Meanwhile, Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com pointed out on Twitter that the free-agent cornerback market has thinned out. Aside from Tracy Porter, there aren't a lot of options out there. That's important for the Eagles if they are looking for a trade partner interested in acquiring Asante Samuel. We'll see if there's any buzz on that front in the next week or two.

And finally, Bovada.com sent out updated Super Bowl odds now that Peyton Manning is a member of the Broncos. The Eagles are 15/1, behind the Packers (13/2), Patriots (15/2), Saints (10/1), Broncos (12/1), Texans (12/1) and 49ers (14/1). The Ravens are also 15/1.

The Eagles have better odds than the rest of their NFC East foes. The Giants are at 16/1; the Cowboys 20/1; and the Redskins 50/1.

The Eagles' odds have gotten slightly worse since Feb. 6, when they were listed at 12/1.
