Throughout the season, we kept track of the Eagles' penalty count, broken down player-by-player.

We didn't get to this the last few weeks of the season so I wanted to present the final numbers.

Below you can find that list, but first some notes:

* The Eagles finished fourth-worst with 115 penalties in the NFL during the regular season. They were middle of the pack (14th-worst) with 789 penalty yards.

* Of the 10 teams with the fewest penalty yards, only two made the playoffs. Of the 10 teams with the fewest penalties, three made the playoffs.

* Of the 10 teams with the most penalties, seven made the playoffs. Of the 10 teams with the most penalty yards, four made the playoffs.

* Through the first 12 weeks of the season, the defense had 210 penalty yards. From Week 13 on, the D had 258 penalty yards.

* Jason Peters led the team in both penalties and penalty yards (11 for 178). Asante Samuel finished third in both categories with seven for 66.

* Impressive output from Jamaal Jackson. Just one penalty for 5 yards before going down in the Broncos game in Week 16.
