Runyan talks McNabb's contract

ESPN.com's Matt Mosley caught up with Jon Runyan over the phone Saturday morning, and asked him about Donovan McNabb's offseason situation with the Birds.

"I've always thought if players sign a contract, they should go ahead and honor it," Runyan said.

It's not exactly a surprising stance. Runyan generally says what he thinks, and rarely shies away from answering questions.

As for his own future, Runyan said he's definitely planning on playing in 2009.

"I'm playing next season," he told Mosley. "I just don't know where it will be. But I'll be with somebody."

Runyan added that teams, including the Eagles, are taking a "wait-and-see" approach with him, and he expects to be ready for training camp in July.

I'll be back with more later, including Wonderlic results, which one reporter got his hands on this weekend.
