Report: Vikings looking at Weaver

Leonard Weaver's Agent, Harold Lewis, told The Inquirer's Bob Brookover that there are several teams interested in adding his client.

In addition to the Eagles, one of those teams might be the Minnesota Vikings.

According to Judd Zulgad of The Star-Tribune, Minnesota is taking a look at the 26-year-old fullback.

Bob Ford over at Post Patterns argues that Weaver could contribute with the Eagles, but it might not be the best career move for him.

A few other items of note:

** Jean Jacques-Taylor of The Dallas Morning News said he caught up with free agent Keith Davis at a Mavericks game, and the Cowboys safety told him he has had talks with the Chiefs, Redskins and Eagles.

** Ken Murray of The Baltimore Sun reports that the Eagles are among the teams that have scheduled workouts with Maryland receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey.

** I rounded up the Anquan Boldin rumors last night, and Les Bowen writes about the Cardinals receiver over at Eagletarian this morning.
