Runyan signs with Chargers

Jon Runyan's career isn't over yet.

The veteran has signed with the San Diego Chargers, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

On the same day that the Eagles announced a four-year extension for right tackle Winston Justice, Runyan found a place to resume his career.

The Chargers needed offensive line help after placing tackle Jeromey Clary on injured reserve with an ankle injury.

Runyan worked out for the Eagles and two other teams earlier this season. As recently as last week, he was co-hosting a show on WIP.

Runyan is recovering from a knee injury and turns 36 this weekend.

Meanwhile, Birds' Eye View and Eagletarian have details on Justice's new deal.

Earlier today, we blogged Man Up on the defense.

And yesterday, we did the offense, coincidentally focusing on Justice's run-blocking performance against the Bears.
