No suspension for Andre Johnson

Andre Johnson will be in uniform Thursday night when the Eagles host the Texans.

Johnson and Titans defensive back Cortland Finnegan were fined $25,000 each, but neither was suspended, according to multiple reports.

FOX 26 in Houston was the first to report that Johnson would be fined and not suspended.

Both players were ejected from the game.

As a point of reference, Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel was fined for $40,000 for his hit on Giants wide receiver Derek Hagan a couple weeks ago.

Johnson is tied for fourth in the league with 65 receptions and is sixth with 869 yards. He's averaging 13.4 yards per catch and has 13 receptions that have gone for 20 yards or more.

Johnson has had at least 60 catches in all eight NFL seasons. He's looking to eclipse 100 catches for the third straight year.

The Texans beat the Titans, 20-0, yesterday.

At 5-6, they trail the Colts and Jaguars by just one game in the tightly-packed AFC South.

Video of the fight (in case you've been stuck under a rock for the past 24 hours) is embedded below.

And earlier Monday, I posted Man Up on the defense.
