McNabb traded to the 'Skins

The Eagles have traded Donovan McNabb to the Redskins for a second-round pick in 2010 (37th overall) and either a third- or a fourth-round pick in 2011.

The trade was first announced by ESPN's Adam Schefter.

I first saw the news on ESPN's bottom line crawl, as it appeared during the Yankees-Red Sox game.

Just Saturday, FoxSports.com's Jay Glazer reported that the Redskins have had discussions with the Eagles about McNabb, but few thought the Birds would actually deal him to a division rival.

Now it appears that Eagles fans will find out what it's like to face McNabb twice a year, starting in 2010.

Much more coming.
