Update (12:31 p.m.): The report now says that Todd Herremans was the driver of the vehicle that got stopped for failing to obey a traffic control device and driving without his headlights on.

From earlier:

Eagles defensive end Juqua Parker was in court early this morning after police found a small amount of marijuana in his possession during a traffic stop last night, according to a report on the Allentown Morning Call's Web site.

Per the report, police stopped him at 12:30 a.m. at N. Mountain Drive at Route 378 for a traffic violation.

Andy Reid would not comment on the incident following today's practice, saying it was in the "law's hands."

All the players had last night off, although they did have a 1 a.m. curfew.

Parker, 31, was missing from practice this morning. However, he qualifies for Andy Reid's 30-plus club, a group of veterans that gets practice off every third day. None of the players over 30, except for third-string quarterback A.J. Feeley, participated in this morning's practice at Lehigh.

When asked if Parker could participate in this afternoon's practice, Reid said, "We'll see."

Parker joined the Eagles in 2005. He had six sacks that season, five in 2007 and five in 2008.

Parker has been getting all the reps as the starting left defensive end during training camp.
