Report: Eagles, Bills haven't talked Peters

The Eagles have been mentioned several times this offseason as a potential suitor for Bills offensive tackle Jason Peters.

However, a league source tells ESPN.com's Tim Graham that the Eagles haven't had any discussions with the Bills about the Pro Bowl left tackle.

NFL sources tell Graham that it's "highly unlikely" the Bills will deal Peters before the draft, but there's still a chance a trade could go down in the next two weeks.

What is the asking price? An AFC personnel executive tells Graham that the conversation would start with a first- and a third-round pick.

The question Eagles fans are tossing around: Would Peters be worth it?

One GM tells Graham that while Peters is a premium offensive tackle, trading for him might not be a wise move.

"Once you give him the money, I'm not so sure he plays up to it," the GM said.

Peters, 27, is under contract for two more seasons. If the Bills don't trade him and the two sides don't come to terms on a new deal, he'll likely hold out, just as he did last year.
