The Rams have officially fired Steve Spagnuolo, according to Jay Glazer of

That means speculation can now begin on where Spagnuolo will coach in 2012 (as if anyone had waited this long anyway).

In addition to keeping an eye on which head coaches are fired this week, also keep tabs on which defensive coordinators are let go. Spagnuolo will likely have his share of suitors. Will he get any looks as a head coach? It's possible. But more likely, teams will view him as an attractive defensive coordinator candidate.

Spagnuolo had some bad luck in 2011 with injuries, but the Rams won 10 games in three seasons with him as head coach. They tied the Colts for the worst record in the NFL this season at 2-14.

A San Diego Union-Tribune report last week indicated that Spagnuolo could be in line to become the Eagles defensive coordinator if they part ways with Juan Castillo. I offered some additional thoughts on Spagnuolo, Castillo and Andy Reid in an earlier post.

Yesterday, I published my post-game thoughts on Eagles-Redskins. And check out the video report with comments from DeSean Jackson, Michael Vick and Reid.

On Monday morning, I posted on the Eagles draft order, Giants-Cowboys thoughts and a look at the team's 2012 opponents.

One more item to share. Below is a video (courtesy of CSN Washington) of Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan trying to get his team pumped up before today's game. He takes issue with something Castillo said and urges his team to [bleep] the Eagles. Really, it's not that big of a deal, but thought many of you would get a kick out of it.
