Nick Cole leaves practice

Eagles center Nick Cole left practice about 20 minutes in Saturday morning with what Andy Reid called a knee injury.

Eagles center Nick Cole left practice about 20 minutes in Saturday morning with what Andy Reid called a knee injury.

Cole had a brief conversation with athletic trainer Rick Burkholder before heading indoors under his own power. He appeared to be favoring his left knee.

Cole had been getting all the reps with the first team at center. Mike McGlynn filled in when Cole left. A.Q. Shipley was back in pads for the first part of practice and practiced with the second team. When he joined his other rehabbing teammates on the side field, Dallas Reynolds took the snaps with the second team.

DeSean Jackson participated in practice and was in pads. Running back Mike Bell began practice in pads, but then joined Shipley and the other rehabbing Eagles.

Jeremy Maclin and Asante Samuel were on the field, working out in shorts.

Check back later for more updates and observations from practice.
