NY Post takes aim at Vick with front page

POSTED: Monday, December 20, 2010, 7:50 AM

The front page of the New York Post took aim at Michael Vick in Monday morning's edition.

The headline reads GIANTS DOG IT: Epic collapse against Vick and the Eagles.

And the image has dogs' heads on the bodies of Giants defenders.

Vick completed 21 of 35 passes for 242 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in the Eagles' 38-31 win. He also carried 10 times for 130 yards and a score.

Sunday night, I recapped how the final 8 minutes, 9 seconds of the game changed the Eagles' season.

You can click here for YouTube video of DeSean Jackson's game-winning punt return, accompanied by Merrill Reese's call.

And here if you want to see how the Eagles can clinch the NFC East.

Absolutely classless and sick - even for the NY Post.

Well, this is the legacy that Mike has created for himself. He has made his mistakes and will always be forever reminded of them. Hopefully, as he says, he will acknowledge this and use this kind of stuff to allow him to rise and overcome, both personally and professionally. I'm telling you, this kind of fuel for the once fallen, if used the right way, can be priceless. I think he'll continue to use it to soar.

Sour grapes, New York. Get over it. We stole your pitcher and then we followed it up by tearing your hearts out.

The NY Post classless front page showing Mr.Vick surrounded by dogs was about as mean and evil as anything I have seen in any newspaper this year. The editors for the NY Post should be ashamed of themselves. Classless, Classless, Classless...

Funny photo. Vick brought this on himself, so he's going to have to deal with it the rest of his life.

There's a reason that on a per sheet basis the N.Y. Post costs more than toilet paper in most NYC markets. Otherwise, well you can figure it out.

Plenty of bad karma to go around; Sunday morning's NY Daily News headline was "Dogfight For First Place". How'd that work out for ya?

Philly Mike.....you remind me of the not too bright kid i schol who tries to cover it up by being the class clown..except in your case it's the class jack*#%....Sure, you're entitled to your view, but do we have to hear it EVERY day and every time Vick gets some love...It's people like you who fuel him even more with the over the top hating....
