Some links to pass along as you take a break from a weekend of college hoops:
** Linebacker Angelo Crowell has a meeting with the Bills Monday to discuss possibly rejoining the team, a source tells Steve Wyche of NFL.com. Crowell has had preliminary contract negotiations with the Bucs though, according to the report. His agent, Todd France, told the Daily News' Les Bowen that the Eagles are one of the teams interested in Crowell.
** As Bowen pointed out yesterday on Eagletarian, don't put too much stock into what free agents say on radio interviews. Latest example: Leonard Weaver. Apparently he went on ESPN 950 earlier this week. Weaver also went on a Seattle radio station. Here's what he said, per the Tacoma News Tribune:
“I wish this process could speed up. I wish the Seahawks would go, ‘Bam!’ And go ahead and make a deal. But you got people saying we’re not worth this and we’re not worth that, and it’s like, ‘Hey brother, we’ve got to take care of family as well.’ So, you know, I’m just remaining true to who I am.”
** As you know by now, the Rams have cut wide receiver Torry Holt. An Eagles team source tells The Inquirer's Bob Brookover that the Eagles have no interest in him.
** The Broncos have signed ex-Eagle Scott Young, according to ESPN.com's John Clayton. Young was a fifth-round pick by the Birds back in 2005.
