Live draft chat: Rounds 2 and 3

POSTED: Friday, April 23, 2010, 8:55 AM

Join me at 6 p.m. Friday evening for a live chat during rounds 2 and 3 of the NFL draft.

The Eagles are scheduled to have two second-round picks (37 and 55) and no third-round picks, but as we know, that can change.

Click here for a list of all the Eagles' picks.

And here for the complete draft order with all the teams.

Plus, I wrote late Thursday night/early Friday morning about Brandon Graham, the first round and the NFC Easat.

Great, another poor tackler in the secondary. He and Assante will get along real well.

Nothing says poor tackler like a guy with 226 career tackles in college.

This is getting old. These guys trade picks like kids trade pixie sticks. Does anybody know how many All-Pros Reid has picked in rounds 4 and lower during his tenure? I'm guessing few, if any. Sad.

Aren't you excited?! Were trading down for value again! Nobody in the NFC can keep up with us in value picks. (sarcasm intended.)

As usual, the Eagles brass tries to outsmart the draft process and thinks our team is better than it actually is. We give away our 3rd round picks and then keep trading down?? Could we not have used Brown from USC or Degasse from UMass? I dont understand why the Eagles and Reid always try to outthink the draft.

You can count the HOFers drafted in the 5th round on one finger, the middle one!

i guess an athletic LB like sean lee would not have helped this team?

What really gets me is the arrogance of the FO. Thinking that they are smarter then everyone else and will find players in the 4th and 5th rounds. Soooooo tired of this act. Last year for this regime. I've officially HAD IT.

jkjchs, check out this link. look at 2005 till 2009 and look at rounds 3-5. I'd say there are some pretty good players that this regime has taken in those rounds.... http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/fulldraft?teamId=3700&type=team

Isn't the point of the draft - to draft. Vince Lombardi (I mean Fat Andy) keeps passing on his picks in the same ratio he passes in the games. So tired of his "see I'm a genius" act. M-E-D-I-O-C-R-E
