Vick will never be the Eagles starting QB unless Kolb gets hurt you numb skulls. The Eagles only let him play a limited # of plays this year cuz he is washed up and they were trying to get some value for him. Vick's completion % is under 50% for his career and he could never hold 5's jock!! Kevin Kolb is our starter he is smarter then Vick can read a defense and has a football pedigree!!!!

McNabb had his shot with the Eagles and it is time to move on. It is as simple as that. It is now on Reid, we will see what kind of coach he is now. If this makes him pass less and run more, than I am all for it. Don't worry about the Redskins, remember Lindros was traded to the Rangers, how did that work out.

This move is the right thing. The Eagles can't say the R-word, but they do have to rebuild to be a real Super Bowl contender. Hope they use all those high picks well -- on defense where they're desperately needed.

Its time we ran the hosts of 610 WIP out of town - Eagles all time best QB ran out of town, a shame. I am rooting for the Redskins when they come to town.

Good Trade!! Wish that they got more for him though (and I voted accordingly in the poll!) Kolb is much more adapted for Reid's West Coast offense (quick drops, short precision passing, etc.) than McNabb ever was, though if nothing else, McNabb was certainly a gamer. It is time to move on. All of these draft picks that the Eagles are now stockpiling should help nicely in re-toolong the team in its many areas of need-particularly the defense. Is it a problem that it was the Redskins? No, because it was still the Redskins. McNabb will make some, but not much difference there.

Why does Philly listen to no brain radio hosts? There is no way Kolb is going to have a better career than McNabb! Mark my words.

Thank you, Donovan, for putting the Eagles back on the map. Good luck in DC.

Yea baby! Although McNabb was a great QB for the Birds, he never really showed me the true grit of an independent leader. I've always had a love/hate attitude towards him. I don't think we lost the Super bowl because of him and all in all I'll remember him as one of the greatest Eagles QB's of all time. That being said, I'm stoked that he's gone now. It is time for the Birds to reload and try another guy, and maybe Kolb's the guy - maybe not. Bottom line is that if they are ever going to win a championship they will need to dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Run the ball and protect your QB! Stop the Run and Pummel the other QB. They failed to do that in the super bowl, and then need a slew of draft picks to beef up the lines and add some skills and talent to the D. Getting Shawn Bradley back will be huge. I can not wait for the draft and next year. Time to put the smart money on the Birds. Yea baby !!!!!!
