This is not a good pick. If you were going receiver, why not tarde for boldin? Macklin is same exact player as Desean Jackson. Should have taken Pettigrew or traded down and took a running back later.
One Phrase, " Head Scratcher". You trade up two picks for God knows what. Then you get the guy we got last year instead of trading that pick for Boldin, Edwards or Ocho Cinco. Can anybody say run game. Beanie Wells agains the tough NFC East. I thought Wells was the obvious pick. Every year the Eagles or Sixers always seem to surprise me. Then ofcourse I cant run to the Flyers for comfort. Why is this city cursed when it comes to sports. Even the espn analysts were stumped
Wow. I guess Reid finally believes in speed at wideout--not to mention talent. We've seen what happens to QB's w/o talent (i.e. E> Manning w/o Burress = maybe not so great.)
First no Game 7...then no Crabtree...what a depressing day...this kid might be good...but Pettigew and/or a Boldin trade makes more sense! Just hope it this isn't a wasted pick...Fredex style....he might be good...don't go booing yet! lol
