List: Draft prospects Eagles have shown interest in

Last week, a reader asked me to compile a list of draft prospects the Eagles have reportedly shown interest in.
Since we're a blog for the people here at MTC, I've decided to do just that.
In parentheses, I've included the date of the report. Each item attributes the report to a specific source.
Now it's important to note that the Eagles could easily draft a player not on this list, someone they haven't even worked out or hosted for a visit.
And it's also important to note that I probably missed some guys. So e-mail me with the link if you've got a prospect for me to add. And bookmark this link so you can keep coming back to it over the next couple of weeks. I'll keep it as updated as possible.

- Since the two RBs are both going to be there at pick 28 and possibly into early 2nd round, it makes me wonder if they expect to use pick 21 somewhere else (or possible move up for Monroe). Maybe they plan to swap 21 and 28 for a top 5 pick plus that teams 2nd round pick. Who knows? It does sound like some top 5 teams want to save the money (the guarenteed money for those top picks is insane). I'd be very happy to get Monroe and either RB (McCoy or Brown) one way or another. McCoy and Borwn both fit our system very well since they are good runners and receivers.— Dish
- Are the 21 and 28 picks really going to get you a top five pick, and a 2nd rounder on top of that? Unless the particular team thinks they don't need a true impact player, just a couple pieces, I'd guess it's more likely somewhere in the 9-12 range. Anyone have a mock up of the "draft pick value" chart teams use to rate out trades of picks?— B in DC
- 21, 28 and a 5th rounder will get you into the top 5, according to the chart. However, it won't get a 2nd rounder in return.— StopThePanic
- How about Brandon Pettigrew and Beanie Wells? I think Heyward-Bey has a tremendous upside. Maryland never had a QB that could get the ball downfield to him. He has the size and vertical to go get balls, and breakaway speed to take it to the house if Donovan can manage to hit him in stride.— amaysnfoods

- Louis Delmas is very intriguing. If he falls to the 2nd round, the Birds might want to put together a package to nab him. Apparently the best safety in the draft.

- I've read that over the last few years many teams have moved away from that chart. They have especially devalued the highest picks. In this year, with a lot of underclassmen coming out combined with the feeling that their is less of a gap than normal between say pick 8 and pick 23, that trend should be magnified.— Warhound
- Guaranteed the Eagles will mess it up somehow. That is only certainty going on here. I really don't understand why they just don't get, one of two of these guys: Harrison, Holt, Buress, Boldin, Edwards, Ocho Cinqo. All of them are an upgrade over what they have. They got rid of Greg Lewis for god's sake. Let Baskett ride pine. You start Harrison and 85 and DeSean Jackson. Curtis comes in on 4 receiver sets. Really isn't rocket science. They should get Tony Gonzalez too, who has also expressed interest to leave. Sure, some of these guys are old, but it is good way to go until younger guys/draft picks pan out. Imagine Harrison teaching DeSean. Imagine Tony G teaching Celek. What on earth is Joe Banner and Andy Reid doing right now. I really don't think they want to win...that is for sure.— DrZ88
