Links: Peter King jinx, Vince Young, McNabb

Some quick links to pass along before we call it a night here:

** You've heard of the Sports Illustrated jinx. Well, reader Steve suggests we give some thought to the SI.com jinx, or more specifically, the Peter King jinx. King interviewed Stewart Bradley for an online video when he was at Lehigh last weekend. The video was posted to the site on Monday, the same day we found out Bradley would miss the season with a torn ACL. The video is embedded below.

** King touches on a number of topics in his Eagles postcard. He questions the decision to move Shawn Andrews to right tackle and says he still gives the Giants the upper hand in the NFC East.

** Vince Young tells Esquire he thinks he'll win a Super Bowl before Donovan McNabb:

I don't know when I'll start again. But I will be the next black quarterback to win a Super Bowl. And I will be in the Hall of Fame.

What a strange, strange NFL career so far for V.Y.

** SI.com's Ross Tucker, who we had the pleasure of meeting when he was at Lehigh last week, talks about what makes a good offensive line, pointing out that the Birds will need to develop chemistry. We say it will help if they all get on the field at the same time at some point before November. Yeah, that'd be nice.

** Brian Dawkins missed practice today in Denver, although the exact nature of his injury is unknown.

"He'll be out for a few days," coach Josh McDaniels told The Denver Post. "I wouldn't expect it to last too long. Certainly not anything devastating, but I'm not going to go into details about what it is."

** Several posts today so click on the blog front to scroll through all of them. We'll be reporting live from the practice fields bright and early.
