Jim Leonhard update

Update (1:42 p.m.): Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that Leonhard is a done deal with the Jets. It's a three-year contract. Other terms have not been disclosed.

From earlier:

Quick update on free-agent safety Jim Leonhard.

Earlier this morning, Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com reported that Leonhard had agreed to a deal with the Jets.

However, Marvez has received new information that has caused him to change his story. Apparently, the Broncos (who are pretty much signing every free agent out there, it seems) are making a late push for Leonhard's services.

As I mentioned Sunday night, a couple media outlets like the National Football Post and Newsday reported that the Eagles had interest in Leonhard after he left New York over the weekend without a contract from the Jets. This information was never confirmed by The Inquirer or Daily News, however.

In other new football content on philly.com today, Paul Domowitch ranks the remaining free agents over at Eagletarian.

And I wrote about the Cowboys' (lack of) offseason activity earlier today.
