Eagles sign DT Boo Robinson

The Eagles have added defensive tackle Boo Robinson as another body to compete for a roster spot during training camp.

Earlier today, the Eagles announced their dates for training camp.

And now, they've added another body to compete at Lehigh.

The Birds have signed Wake Forest defensive tackle Boo Robinson to a three-year deal, his agent Albert Elias announced on Twitter.

The three-year deal part is of course meaningless, as the Eagles can cut him at any time.

Robinson (6-1, 295) had one sack as a senior, but was hampered by a back injury according to his agent.

"I think the Eagles really found themselves a diamond in the rough," Elias told Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post. "He's doing great. He's back to his quickness and speed and we look for big things to happen for him."

Per Wilson's report, Robinson was advised that he'd be a third-round pick if he left after his junior season, but he decided to return to Wake Forest.

The Eagles now have the following defensive tackles on their roster: Brodrick Bunkley, Antonio Dixon, Trevor Laws, Jeff Owens, Mike Patterson and Robinson

Earlier, I linked to a few different items, including Peter King's power rankings, which had the Eagles at No. 15.
