Eagles fans, we want your stories

Last week, reader Ted sent in a YouTube video of Birds fans singing Fly, Eagles, Fly at a North Jersey wedding in Giants country.

The blog post got me thinking -- why not share some more stories of Eagles fans on MTC?

We're about to enter a relatively slow period before the start of training camp. Obviously there are no "dead periods" in the NFL calendar, so we'll have plenty to write about, but I'd like to take this time to share some of your stories.

Here's how it'll work.

If you're an Eagles fan who would like to share your story (which really could mean anything), send me a brief e-mail.

I don't want to give many examples of what I mean because I want to keep it pretty open-ended. But it could be your favorite memory as an Eagles fan, an anecdote like Ted shared from his wedding, a special moment you spent with a loved one. Whatever you like.

After I get some e-mails, I'll choose some of you and get more information via e-mail or a phone call. Then we'll share the stories with the group.

A special request to Eagles fans in the military. One of the cool parts about our live game chats during the season was that we had people chiming in from, literally, all over the world. If you are a Birds fan serving our country, I'd especially like to hear from you.

So there you have it. Any questions, e-mail me or chime in through the comments below.

More football stuff to come later in the day so check back.
