Reverse called on Eagles/Toronto report

Update: Les Bowen of the Daily News writes that the Toronto report is erroneous. The Eagles will not be playing there next season.

From earlier:

The Eagles will leave the country for one game next season, according to a report.

The Bills will host the Birds at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, per Greg Brady of The Fan 590.

We will know officially tonight when the NFL releases its complete schedule at 7 p.m.

And this is all of course assuming that there actually is a season.

The Birds' opponents are set. In addition to facing the Bill on the road, they'll travel to Washington, Dallas, New York (Giants), Seattle, St. Louis, Miami and Atlanta.

Aside from the three divisional opponents, the Eagles will also face the 49ers, Cardinals, Patriots, Jets and Bears at the Linc.

Of the Eagles' non-NFC East opponents, five were playoff teams last season: the Seahawks, Falcons, Patriots, Jets and Bears.

If nothing else, this post allows me to break out one of the great Randall Cunningham plays of all time, when the Eagles faced the Bills in Buffalo back in 1990. Fast-forward to about the 3:25 mark, and enjoy.
