DeSean, teammates surprise boy who was bullied
Sheil Kapadia, Philly.com
By now, you are probably aware of 13-year-old Nadin Khoury's story.
Seven teenage boys bullied him, beat him and took video of the entire attack in Upper Darby on Jan. 11.
Khoury appeared on ABC's The View today to talk about what happened to him, and bullying in general.
Near the end of his appearance, he was surprised by three special guests: DeSean Jackson, Todd Herremans and Jamaal Jackson.
Khoury was moved to tears when the three Eagles arrived, telling DeSean Jackson he was his favorite player.
DeSean told Khoury how brave he was and delivered a signed autographerd jersey to him.
"Any time ever you need us, I got two linemen right here," Jackson said.
Herremans offered Khoury and his family tickets to any Eagles game next season.
And Jamaal Jackson promoted a site called IChooseToLive.com that serves "to inspire and motivate young adults and teens by providing a platform that encourages self-development and positive decision making through art, education, and community outreach."
The look on Khoury's face when DeSean's name was announced was great, and it's always great to see athletes realize the impact they can have on younger fans.
The video of the appearance is below. Thanks to Bleeding Green Nation for posting it on YouTube.
Earlier today, I posted on the Eagles reportedly claiming a Jets cornerback off waivers and last night, I offered five thoughts on the promotion of Juan Castilo.

Nice story. Now Herremans and Jackson should go work over those seven teenagered bullies like they were the Redskins D-line. rob808pf
That was awesome! ej610- A truly inspiring move on the part of DeSean, Jamal and Todd and the Eagles as a whole to make that young man's day. Its a shame that he had to be beaten by thugs who shouldn't even be allowed in school to attack innocent kds like him. What a state the public schools have become! Great, great job to the Eagles for an awesome show of pro ahtletes giving back to the fans! AWESOME!

This kid is smart, nice, well behaved, a winner.....exactly why the cowardly losers targeted him. They hate anyone who dares try to better themselves. JonKap
