Original post:
NBC 10 sports director and anchor Vai Sikahema spent time with both the Eagles and the Cardinals during his eight-year NFL career, so which team will he be pulling for come Sunday?
"I have loyalties to both organizations, but people who know me know that I openly root for the Cardinals," he told Bob Young of The Arizona Republic. "It's been easier since they left the (NFC East) division. But they're the team that took a chance on me 27 years ago."
Sikahema started his career with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1986. He spent the final two years of his career with the Eagles.
While he's rooting for Arizona, Sikahema said in the article that he expects the Eagles to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.
"Both teams are playing with house money at this point, and it's not that I won't root for the Cardinals," he said, "but I'm looking at it like the guys in Vegas are - the Eagles are a better team, and they have a lot of guys who have been through this before. They're battle tested. I think that's going to be the difference in the game."
By the way, Jordin Sparks will sing the National Anthem before Sunday's game.

Some of you people got some real problems. You all need to step back from sports for awhile. Lonny
I can't believe what I am reading. You people who are hating on Vai for something this stupid are ridiculous. Lemur
Vai is a joke anyway. I can only remember him for punching a goal post. He is missanelli's (another clueless moron) lap dog. Vai go away you make John Clark seem intelligent when it comes to football. kratos
Lemur I can honestly say his comments don't make me hate him. I just think he has no business being a sports journalist he has horrible presence on the screen and he is unprofessional when somebody does not agree with his view on sports. kratos
Sheil Kapadia, where do you get your information? Facebook? I just saw Sikahema explain on TV that he is rooting for the Eagles, NOT the Cardinals. TronSector82
