Braylon, Gonzalez and Harry the K

Some quick notes before we call it a night:

** Mike Lombardi of the National Football Post reports that the Browns have a No. 1 on the table for Braylon Edwards. Per Lombardi, Cleveland is looking for more, and any team that deals for Edwards must also come to terms on a contract with him because the receiver will be a free agent at the end of next season.

** And then there's Tony Gonzalez. Lombardi reports that the Atlanta Falcons are "seriously considering" dealing for the Chiefs tight end. Per the article, Atlanta may be willing to give up its second-round pick, the 55th selection overall.

** Finally, not sure what more I can say about Harry Kalas that hasn't been said already. We grew up listening to you, and you will be missed.

Steve Sabol of NFL Films released a statement about Kalas:

"In the 46 years of NFL Films, we have worked with two of the greatest voiceover talents in television history," Sabol said. "John Facenda was the 'Voice of God,' and Harry Kalas was the 'Voice of the People.' His substance was his style. There was no shtick, just a steady blend of crisp articulation and resonance."
