Boldin rumor roundup

We might as well coin this "Anquan Boldin week" here at philly.com.

On Monday, we brought you reports by a couple national media guys linking the Eagles to Boldin.

Today, Les Bowen over at Eagletarian offered his take on the situation, saying the Eagles were more likely to land Boldin than Bills tackle Jason Peters.

And now more developments.

A league source tells Mike Florio of profootballtalk.com that the Cardinals are "definitely" shopping Boldin.

Cardinals general manager Rod Graves denied the report via text message to Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic, saying Arizona's position has not changed.

SI.com's Peter King mentioned the Eagles and Giants as possible destinations for Boldin in an article earlier this week.

According to Tom Rock of Newsday, the Giants would potentially have an interest, but a league source tells him there has been no contact between the two teams as of yet.

An NFL executive with knowledge of the Giants' thinking tells Paul Needell of The Newark Star-Ledger that he "doesn't think" New York would be in the mix for Boldin.

And Pro Football Weekly reports that the team's priorities are safety Adrian Wilson and linebacker Karlos Dansby.

As you can see, reporters are working the phones, talking to their sources and trying to get the latest scoop on the Boldin situation.

But this is where we stand as of 10:17 p.m. Thursday night.

I thought we were about to enter a slow period with the key players in free agency off the board and the draft still five weeks away, but the rumors are as plentiful as ever. Check back Friday morning for more.
