Market for Ochocinco, Boldin

Quick wide receiver update as you digest all the Sheldon Brown news that has unfolded today.

Let's start with Chad Ochocinco. The Bengals receiver apparently recently told T.J. Houshmandzadeh that he still wants out of Cincinnati. But what's the market like for Ochocinco?

According to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer, there hasn't been a lot of interest. Reedy says he's hearing that no one is offering even a third-round pick for Ochocinco.

On that note, I'd like to introduce a new feature here at MTC called "If fans ran the team..."

If fans ran the team... the Eagles would trade a third-round pick for Ochocinco, draft a running back and everyone would be doing "Super Bowl" chants at Lehigh in August.

Agree or disagree?

And an Anquan Boldin note.

Some considered the Ravens the favorites to land Boldin's services, but a team source tells Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun that they are "unlikely" to make a deal unless the Cardinals ease up on their asking price of a first- and a third-round pick.

The Ravens would be willing to give up either a first- or a second-round pick, according to the article.
