Michael Vick's first practice as a Philadelphia Eagle is in the books.

Still feels pretty strange writing that, I must admit.

But by all accounts (meaning Eagletarian and Birds' Eye View), Vick looked good throwing the football.

Above are photos of Vick in a Birds uniform for the first time, and below is video footage from the AP.

After seeing the pics, I realized that the right tackle position now carries even more importance. It'll be Vick's blindside. If he plays five, eight or 10 snaps a game at QB, it's crucial that the Birds have a right tackle they can depend on. Or if Donovan McNabb should go down and Vick were to step in (although it obviously could still be Kevin Kolb), same deal.

Just something to think about, given that Shawn Andrews is still on the shelf, which I wrote about earlier.

wow, the idiocy of your title has been out done by the idiocy of your comments. Please don't compare the torture and death of innocent animals to a mans performance in football which in the end, is always only a game

But, I will puke if I hear anymore of your drivel. Please, go crawl under the rock that you emerged from and, while you're there, maybe you'll be close enough to the dogs this sub-human killed to say "got your back". You sicken me.

I was more upset about Myers hitting his wife. Both crimes reprehensible but I'm not boycotting either team. From a football standpoint, I like the signing because now we have a chance to win the SB even if Mcnabb goes down. We didn't before with Kolb(sorry lw). Puke, it's not really a joking matter. You need to respect the people who hate this. They have legitimate concerns.
