V.F. Chorale offers tribute to military on Sat.

The Valley Forge Chorale, a 30-member community chorus, will present a concert of "Hope & Joy" at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 31 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia.

The program will feature John Rutter's "Requiem" and a patriotic tribute to military veterans - past and present.

A concert highlight will be the premiere performance of "Threnody of a Grateful Nation" composed by Chorale member, David Hobbs.

The singers will be accompanied by a professional orchestra with Marc F. Cheban at the organ, and Donna Cooper playing harp.

The Valley Forge Chorale is now in its third season, under the direction of Steven McBride.

Tickets are $10.00, and can be obtained in advance by emailing steve@valleyforgechorale.com. Tickets will also be available at the door. Special group rates are available.
