Township Line Road to close for water main installation

Township Line Road to close for water main installation

Aqua Pennsylvania will close Township Line Road between DeKalb Pike and Penlyn Blue Bell Pike in Plymouth and Whitpain townships, Montgomery County.

The closing will take place weekdays beginning May 16 for water main installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced today.

Township Line Road will be closed Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through June 29.

During construction, Township Line Road through traffic will be detoured over DeKalb Pike, Skippack Pike, and Penlyn Blue Bell Pike.  Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

PennDOT said motorists should allow extra time when traveling though the area.
