Thousands attend Obama rally at MontCo Community College

POSTED: Monday, November 5, 2012, 7:34 PM

Montgomery County Community College hosted about 5,000 shivering visitors Monday when President Clinton arrived to stump for President Obama.

Commissioner Josh Shapiro opened, followed by Manan Travedi (running for Congress in the 6th District, which includes parts of MontCo); Kathy Boockvar (a Congressional candidate from Bucks County); and Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz (running for re-election in the 13th District, which includes parts of MontCo).

They kept the speeches short and sweet, as the crowd shivered for hours outdoors.
