Parents are invited to hear a talk by Dr. Laurence Steinberg, a psychology professor at Temple who specializes in the development of the adolescent brain.  The event will be held at Lower Merion High School on Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m.

Dr. Steinberg will talk about the latest research and how it informs our understanding of adolescent behavior. After the presentation, small groups led by district administrators will break out to discuss approaches to raising and teaching children.

Lower Merion's BuildOn chapter will provide child care during the presentation. To register your child, email abbyspector@comcast.net.

The event is co-sponsored by the Lower Merion Interschool Council and the Educational Foundation of Lower Merion.
