Reader warns about leaving pets in hot cars

We received a snail-mail letter this morning from  William F. Marcovitz who lives in Wayne.

He writes, “Once again, we are in the hot summer season. I want to ask, implore and warn everyone to leave your pets at home!

“They don’t belong in a car parked in the hot sun.

“It takes five minutes for them to die of a heat stroke.

“You wouldn’t leave your child, so.. Please don’t leave your pets!”

Amen to that.
