Politico.com we are not, but this political tidbit just surfaced on a computer alert:

Organizing for American Pennsylvania opens a new Montgomery County campaign office at 6 p.m. tonight, March 1, in a previously empty storefront in Yorktown Plaza, Elkins Park.

According to Dan Siegel, Montgomery County regional field director, the office is intended to help elect President Obama and Democrats up and down the ticket.

“Come find out more and register to join our movement at the office opening party this Thursday night,” he says on www.barackobama.com.

Apparently, organization efforts in Montco began last December, Siegel says.
Volunteers and supports had asked if there was to be a campaign headquarters.

“A few short months later, it is my pleasure to deliver the answer we've all been waiting and working hard for: Now!” enthuses Siegel.

The office is located at 115 Yorktown Plaza in Elkins Park, at the intersection of RT 611 and Church Road. The party goes until 8 p.m.
