Kids pass out, but no apparent hazard at Pottsgrove Middle School

This from reporters Jessica Parks and Emily Babay. I'm just posting the first couple of paragraphs (in the business, we just say, 'grafs'). I've put a link in at the end for you to read the whole story and get updates.

Pottsgrove Middle School was evacuated this morning because several students were hospitalized after passing out, but investigators found no environmental hazard in the building.

A call about medical emergencies at the school, located at 1351 N. Hanover St., came in shortly after 10:15 a.m., according to Montgomery County dispatchers. The Pottsgrove School District said in a statement that three students fainted during a choral practice and other students reported that they were light-headed.

In total, 22 students were taken to area hospitals for evaluation.
