Next Saturday in Upper Merion, the sky’s the limit

Budding astronomers and others will be able to see the sun up close and personal during Solar Saturday in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County.

Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers will set up special lenses and telescopes for safe viewing.

The event is to be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the far parking lot of the King of Prussia United Artists Theater, 300 Goddard Boulevard,  King of Prussia, Pa. 19406.

The viewing of the sun is free and designed for all ages. Rain date is Oct. 6. For more information, link to: www.dvaa.org.
