Morris Road in Whitpain to be shut two days this week

Morris Road between School Road and Pennlyn Blue Bell Pike in Whitpain Township will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday to replace a damaged storm water drainage pipe.

This just in from PennDOT:

"The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation today announced that Morris Road will be closed between School Road and Pennlyn Blue Bell Pike, Whitpain Township, Montgomery County, on Tuesday and Wednesday (June 4-5) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for an emergency operation to replace a damaged storm water drainage pipe.

During construction, Morris Road through traffic will be detoured over School Road, Route 73 (Skippack Pike) and Pennlyn Blue Bell Pike. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area."
