All schools except Harriton High School will be open tomorrow, Nov. 1 in the Lower Merion School District. They will operate on a normal schedule.

PECO has been working to restore power in school  buildings and is confident that all schools, except Harriton, will have power by morning, officials said late Wednesday.

The officials warned that numerous road closures, power outages and pedestrian hazards linger throughout the township.

School buses may be late. Wait 20 minutes beyond your scheduled pick-up time, then call (610) 645-1940 to check on the status of the bus, school officials said.

Officials suggested that parents wait at bus stops till the bus arrives, or drive or walk the children to school.

For Harriton High School families, “we will be back in touch as soon as possible regarding the status of Harriton for Friday,” the officials said.
