How to shoot outside - a camera, silly!

Budding photographers have a chance to learn the tricks of the trade at Central Perkiomen Valley Park on Saturday, April 28, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The session will be offered by a park ranger at the Old Mill House on Plank Road in Montgomery County.

Participants will learn some simple moves that change the look, feel, and mood of their outdoor photographs. They also will be given tips on lighting, composition, and how to take photos in poor weather.

Afterward, students will go for a short hike to apply what they have learned.

Participants should bring a camera and wear shoes for hiking.

Central Perkiomen Valley Park is on Plank Road in Schwenksville. Take Rte. 29 to Plank Road then use the entrance on the left and go to the Old Mill House.

The free session will go on rain or shine. To register, call 610-287-6970.
