Home Depot offers job training for returning soldiers

Just back from deployment? Need job tips? In an effort to assist the tri-state military community, three Home Depot locations will host Civilian Career Workshops on Sat., Oct. 27.

The workshops are a part of nationwide program 'Mission: Transition' to offer training for service men and women transitioning into the civilian workforce. The sessions will help them hone their skills on searching for a job, writing a resume, and being interviewed by a prospective boss.

Participating Home Depot stores in this region are in Dover, Del., Egg Harbor Township, N.J., and Willow Grove, Pa. The Willow Grove store is located at 2250 Easton Road, 19090.

The workshops will run from 2 to 5 p.m. at each of the locations that Saturday.
