Eat - birthday cake the way Martha made it for Gen. George Washington.

Play - during sessions packed with children’s actitivities.

Love - reenactments of Revolutionary War history by watching the 2nd Pennsylvania Regiment.

Members of the Cradle of Liberty Council of the Boy Scouts of America will hold the 100th Washington's Birthday Encampment and Pilgrimage at Valley Forge National Historical Park on Saturday, Feb. 18.

More than 3,000 scouts and leaders are expected to camp-out for the weekend, hike the Park and learn about Revolutionary War era muskets, music, and medicine.

The festivities continue Sunday when the 2nd Pennsylvania Regiment will gather at the Park's Muhlenberg Brigade area from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, reenactors will demonstrate musket and artillery firing, colonial cooking and what a soldier’s life was like during the 1777-8 encampment.
